Enjoy the ease of a point-and-shoot-camera. Not a digital, the AE-1 uses film with its special advantages. (Film captures perfect color in high resolution and there is no delay between photos, as with digital cameras.) The advantage over most film-using cameras is the addition of the Program mode first seen in the A-1. This mode sets both the shutter speed and aperture automatically. The user focuses the camera and then presses the shutter button. Lens is a Canon Zoom 70-210mm Macro.
This camera has not been tested. I am selling it for the price or the lens. And I will throw in a shoulder strap that is worn but quite comfortable.
The AE-1 Program’s a go-to camera for beginners and advanced users, and in good shape. It is a 35 mm single-lens reflex camera that was introduced in 1981 as the successor to the Canon A-1. It uses an electronically controlled, electromagnet horizontal cloth focal plane shutter, with a speed range of 2 to 1/1000 second plus Bulb and flash X-sync of 1/60th second. The camera body is 87 mm tall, 141 mm wide, and 48 mm deep; it weighs 590 g.
